Subject: Clock Stopped Working

Question
The clock stopped working on my 1986 300E. I wasn't sure if it was a simple fix (like a fuse) or something more complicated. The fuse box diagram is too worn out to read. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Answer
Sorry Ellen It has taken so long. Let me access the wiring schematics for your vehicle and I will let you know. I do not recall a fuse for the clock in specifics . I thing it is the clock itself inside the cluster. But let me check and I will get back to you. soon.

Check Fuse #5
But that fuse also controls the tachometer. So unless that is not working . Your problem would be internal. There are companies that reaper them but I do not think it is worth the expense just for the clock
Let me know.
