Question
Hi, where is the 02 sensor located on a 1985 Mercedes 500 SEC?  And is it relatively easy to replace?  I have a replacement sensor and was debating whether to try and do it myself or spend a few hundred to have someone else do it.  Thanks.

That thing is located in the exhaust near the front of the car. if you look under your car, you should be able to see them. On the v-8s there is  usually one for each exhaust. It has a wire that goes to it and can be unplugged when changing. also make sure that the wire hasnt touched the exhaust and burnt the wire. I dont know how mechanically inclined you are, but the car will have to put up in the air on jack stands and a special wrench to take them loose.
