Question Hi ,i own a 87 mercedes benz 190 E 2.3 4 cyl. .The problems that i had is that every time i start the car i had to crank the engine with the gas pedal full depressed ,for about 20 sec. in order to fire the engine,after that the car will drive fine ,once in a while it stalls,but will restart after sitting for couple minutes
i already changed OVP relay,sparkplugs,wires,distributor cap & rotor,fuel filter,air filter,cold start valve.
Now for the last couple of days the car won't start at all,the irony now is that the car fires up right away without the gas pedal but it dies in 2 sec.could be fuel pump relay? pls help thank you
Answer That does sound like a bad fuel pump relay.
