Mergers & Acquisitions - Divisions in a S-Corp

Expert: Dr. Joseph de Beauchamp - 2/7/2007

Question
I own an S-Corp, I need to seperate business affairs by division (different web properties). Each make income differntly. I was thinking of multiple EINs but do as a division IRS says no EIN required. How can I seperate these transactions? Please help. Thanks MAC

Answer
You should probably see a CPA and have them set up your books. This is the best way, and they will understand how to log each catagory for the S-Corp. You will need to bring along your books and article of incorporation to the tax professional. This is best to take a professional and in person.
