Question Mr. Doblmeier-
I have a large portfolio of Intellectual Property that I would like to sell. Where can I find a place to post it for sale? This is the first time I have ever tried to sell a collection of software and hardware.
Answer I haven't done this before, but you should be able to do this on bizbuysell.com or other such sites. You must clearly state that it is IP and licensing. Another idea is to post it to IP lawyers. They might have clients that would be interested in owning it, either to use parts of it or keep parts of it OFF the market so yours does not compete with theirs. This might bring you a higher price than selling it for conventional use. You might also seek out consulting companies which work in the area for which the programs were written.
Please feel free to contact me if you would like to discuss it further.
