Question
What instrument is used in measuring hurricanes

Answer
Hi Luke

Satellite, radar, hurricane hunter planes and NOAA observation stations do 99% of the real-time measurements of hurricane structure, intensity and predictions.

Some of the instruments are dropsondes, anemometers and barometers.
