Hello I am a 8th grade student and I was wondering if you could stop a tornado. I know it sounds lame but tornados start by warm and cold air coming together to form the tornado maybe if you could take the cold or hot air away from the tornado you could stop it.

Some people have conjectured that explosives could stop a tornado; I think short of a nuclear explosion, explosives would not work:
