Question
Thinking of moving to Ecuador - wondering why it seems often so much hotter in places North of the Equator (cuz we live in US)than the touted 'eternal Spring' weather spoken of in Ecuador??!!

Look forward to hearing from you,   Maria G

Answer
Hi Maria

The "Eternal Spring" reference is due the a steady climate with respect to daily temperature that varies little and is spring/summer like. The warm ocean is a major factor along with light winds.
