Question
What melts snow faster, a cold rain or a warm breeze? I know there are many different factors that effect the answer, what would those factors be and how do thy effect the melting of the snow?

Answer
Hi Eric

A warm breeze: why, because the name of the game is evaporation -warmth & wind & low humidity increase the evaporation rate; rain brings high humidity. It is true that rain will have some melting affect.
