Meteorology (Weather)/v cloud

v cloud at irvine
v cloud at irvine
on September 27th in southern california, while watching the eclipse, in the opposite direction was a large V in the sky. it stayed there for a long time. No one has taken credit for it and it really doesn't look natural.

Hi Linda

It might have been a mechanical up-draft in a V shape that caused it or an airplane the flew a path outlining and creating a down draft drying out the cloud along the outside of the V. Just a guess!
