Meteorology (Weather)/air pressure

Question
i live in central Florida, during summer the air heats up very fast and rises to form clouds, at this point before rain occurs is the air pressure low or high at ground levels??

Answer
Hi William

It's neither. This type of shower/thunderstorm is caused by differential heating of the land versus the ocean which causes an updraft into cooler air which then creates the cumulonimbus cloud which results in the rain.
