Question
Hello,

Where are low and high pressure systems commonly located in the USA?

Thanks in advance!

Answer
Hi Angela

Low pressure areas are most common on the east coast, the southeast states and, along the northwest part of the country. No state is immune from a visit.

High pressures usually come out of Canada and impact all the northern states with a predominance from the great lakes and eastward.
