Question
I´m 26 years old. I was born in USA, when I was little, my parents brought me to Mexico and they registered me as beeing born here but I already had a US birth certificate. My mother is From the US and my father is Mexican. I have a US passport and I have visited the US for many vacations but I have lived in Mexico all my life. What should I do to clear up my situation and also is there any paperwork or taxes I should be filing at the US consulate.

Todo lo que hay que hacer es anular el acta de nacimiento mexicana presentando el acta de nacimiento de los EUA y una identificación personal. Con eso se anula el acta mexicana y se procede a solicitar una Declaración de Nacionalidad Mexicana presentando el acta de nacimiento de tu padre, (es equivalente a un acta de nacimiento mexicana) y con ello se reconoce tu doble nacionalidad y ya no tendrás problemas.
Y por los impuestos o cualquier otra cosa relacionada con los EUA no hay problema porque no vives en los EUA. Todos los trámites que deberás hacer son en México.
Debes acudir a la Oficina del Registro Civil en donde te registraron y ahí solicitar la anulación. El resto de los pasos ahí mismo tendrán que indicártelos.
