Mexico - Transporation

Expert: Pam Smith - 10/6/2008

Question
3 ladies flying to Ixtapa and needing bus transporation from there to Acapulco and return last week in January 2009.  I looked at Costaline website but it is all in Spanish.  What would you recommend.

Thank you.

Answer
I am not familiar with bus schedules, but I did find this site that seems to be very informative:

http://www.vallarta-info.com/puerto-vallarta-transport.html

I wouldn't suggest traveling by bus, unless at least one of you has the ability to converse at least a little bit in Spanish.  Not everyone you come in contact with will have an understanding of English, so someone needs to be able to converse with the locals.

Pam
