Hi - I am in Puerto Vallarta and considering a trip to the highlands and a visit to the Huichol tribe. Is this just a tourist visit with little about the actual customs of the tribe? How much is one able to acquaint themselves with the religious and daily customs of the Huichols?  Thanks for any and all help.

Thank you for writing, but unfortunately this is outside my expertise, so I can not offer you any advice on the Huichol tribe, tours, etc.
