Question
Hello Pam,

I want to spent a week late November on the Pacific Coast of Mexico. I'd like to stay away as much as possible of the crowd and the "500 rooms/all inclusive" side-by-side resorts (like in Cancun).
I have been to Tulum twice, and really enjoyed the wonderful beach, the small but nice hotels / guesthouse, the laid back and relaxed atmosphere if found there with my wife... I would return there, but want to discover something new !

I am open to do a "tour" and go to 2 or 3 different locations as long as the driving in between is not more than 2/3 hours...
I would like to relax on nice (and not over-crowded) beaches, to experience a touch of luxury (nice hotel with vue and spas), to be able to play two or three round of golf during the week and have discover cultural / historical / scenics sites if possible...
My budget is significant, but not crazy: for two: around $300 per night (on average), up to $2000 for air travel (from NYC) and $2000 spent on food, car rental, activities...

I know it sounds like I want all in one, but I am sure it's something doable...

What would you suggest ?

Thanks,

Charles
