Mexico - Cost of renting in Campeche and what is the weather like

Question
My husband and I are thinking of moving to Campeche. How much is does it cost to rent a 2-3 bedroom home? Also what is the weather like? Is is cooler than Merida? Is it a nice city to live in...we have 2 small children.

Yes, it's a little bit cooler in Campeche than Merida... not much, but a little. Campeche is on the Gulf and Merida is 30 minutes inland, and therein lies the difference.
Campeche is a quiet city and for now, doesn't have too many expats. That will be changing soon, as there are many companies building housing developments for expats from all over the world... mostly from Europe. To rent a home there? I'm sorry, I don't know.
