Question We will be staying in Ixtapa for a week the February, then we would like to get to Melaque. We stay there for a week and fly out of Manzanillo. What would be the best way to get there? We aren't opposed to renting a car if you can get one, one way only.

The best way to get to Melaque from Ixtapa depends on personal preference and your pocket book.
I'd be tempted to fly to Manzanillo ZLO airport, then taxi to Melaque.
If you rent a car for a one-way trip, you would have to drop it off in Manzanillo or possibly at the airport, as there are no large car rentals in Melaque.
If you drive, make sure you do not drive at night in Michoacán as it could be dangerous.
Travel by first class bus would be the cheapest, but would be a very long trip time wise.
