Question
Hey Mac,

I'm not sure if you can help me out here. A friend and I want to travel to Mexico for 2 weeks at the end of December. What we want:

- Nice beach
- All-Inclusive Resort, and most importantly
- Visit Teotihuacan

The only problem is, there's not a city close to Teotihuacan that has a beach. We've searched ENDLESSLY online at Ixtapa, Acapulco, and Manzanillo (as these are the closest "beach" cities to Teotihuacan). The only problem is that we'd have a travel a great deal to get from either of these cities into Mexico City.

What would you recommend us to do? If we want beach + ruins, would it be better just to head down to Cancun and visit Chichen Itza instead? Any sort of advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Answer
Hola Seth,
Teotihuacán is near Mexico city, so the east coast would be closer for you.
You may want to visit Veracruz on the Bay of Campeche.

Sorry, but I have never been on the east side of México so cannot enlighten you further.
My expertice is on the pacific coast.  Check out my web sites:

I know you will enjoy México!
Cheers,
MéxicoMac
