Mexico - rosarito beach

Expert: christy - 2/1/2009

Question
my brother is thinking of moving to this are. Is it safe? Are there any other places to live which could be considered close to rosarito yet are quiet and private and are close to the beach. Ideally, he is looking for a small to moderate sized town and safety being a very high factor

Answer
Terry   this is the most safe place we have ever seen. there are small villages outside of chapala and ajijic, very private and safe.  I cannot speak for how it would be else where, especially the beach,  we are about 3 1/2 hrs to manzanillo and 4 to pv, we all do trips on the holidays or weekend trips, but i do not know about living there.  Thanks  email if i can be of further service. Chris
