hi pam
my future wife and i are planing to spend our honeymoon in puerto valarta between sept 4 and 11.
we would like to go to a hotel that is in walking distance of most atractions or shoping areas and that has beach front...we are looking for a 5 star category..any sugestion?
what about the weather? too much rain?

Answer
I can suggest the CasaMagna Marriott Puerto Vallarta Resort & Spa or the Westin Resort and Spa which are NOT all inclusive so all your food and drinks will be an additional cost.  If you want an all inclusive I can recommend Casa Velas.  

Weather is always unpredictable but your suggested dates should be great. Still nice and warm, and you may have an occiasional short shower.
