Mexico - travelling to san quintin

Expert: Mario González-Román - 6/11/2009

Question
Hello,

We're planning a honeymoon trip to Mexico and would be interested in staying in San Quintin.  Would you have any suggestions on the best way to get down to San Quintin from San Diego.  We'd be flying from the East Coast and had thought about renting a car from the San Diego airport but we're not sure if we'll be able to stay in our budget range.  We've heard the bus system might be OK.  Just wondering what your suggestions might be.

What is the weather like during the first part of September.  We're looking for a place with sun and beach but not a lot of people.    - thanks -

Answer
Thanks for chosing Mexico as the destination of your honeymoon. I can appreciate the fact you are not impressed negatively about what you read in the press:

GOING BACK to your question, I believe that before you travel you should inquire with the hotel you intend to spend your honeymoon at what is best if going across the border via public transportation coming from San Diego. The weather when you go will be similar to that of Ensenada, Tijuana or even .. San Diego. This time of the year, hot, hot, HOT. The high season begins in December and goes through the end of February. Besttime of year to travel in Mexico cheaply. For hotel information in San Quintin, try this:

Go to featured articles in my site at www.securitycornermexico.com and try BUS TRAVEL if this is the mode of transportation you decide to chose. Before you make a final decision, I highly recommend that you go over this section

Marriage is a very special moment in your lifetime. If I was ever to remarry, I would consider a paradise-like compound in Zihuatanejo, not far from Ixtapa airport. The money you'll pay in transportation, transfers, concerns about road conditions, etc. may be saved by taking a package where you may find everything within the same compound.

A taxi from Ixtapa will take you to Casa que Canta, a world-famous destination for honeymooners. I do not get one penny from Casa de Canta. This is a free information resource (continuously working in a state of bankruptcy) for the international community. In my Travel Section there are plenty of different locations in this huge country to choose from. Select what may be more suitable to your budget, plans, if traveling from the East Coast.

Bienvenidos a Mexico. Do not worry, be hoppy (read the Frog Story. If you found this information useful, recommend us. We need as much visibility as we can get. Maybe someone one day we'll find someone to sponsor :) us.
