Experience I have traveled many times to Cabo, Puerto Vallarta, Cancun and the Mayan Riviera, as well as Cozumel. I have been selling vacations to these destinations for many years and I travel to many of the resorts in these popular tourist destinations about once a year.
Question We want to vacation in Cancun in late Jan or Feb 2008 for about 2 - 3 weeks in a clean place/room on the ocean side beach (not the bayside), that is not expensive, no lower than a 3 star. We are looking for a good price and we do not particularly need A/I or activities. Do any places discount if staying that length of time? Thank you for any information.
Answer No one that I know has discounts for extended stays. My first thought for a resort for you would be the Ambiance. It is a nice resort, nothing fancy, but more than adequate. The 1, 2 and 3 bedroom suites have a kitchenette in them so you can fix some meals if that is a desire.
