Question
Hi,

We are planning a short visit for about 3-4 days to Mexico during thanks giving this year. Our main intention is to visit Palenque and Tikal plus the waterfalls nearby.

I am planning to fly into "Ciudad del Carmen" and then visit the above mentioned places. What would be a good itinerary? and What about getting around locally between these places? Any other tips? thanks..

Answer
I am not familiar with these ruins, but I did a quick search and it looks like they are actually in Guatemala.  From what I have found, you should fly in to the Flores airport and travel from there.  Here is information that I found:

Hope this helps you!
