About David E Clarke
Expertise
Lodging, villages and activities on the Bay of Tenacatita only, in the state of Jalisco on the Pacific Coast of Mexico (Costa Allegre)

Experience
I have been part of two companies that have specialized in kayaking and camping trips in this part of mexico and am very familiar with the Bay of tenacatita and the surrounding area. I presently have a small company called outlandadventures that has a year round ocean view rental villa in the small fishing village of La Manzanilla Jalisco, Mexico where folks can come enjoy the beauty of the area.

Question
would like to know how much the area has expanded commercialy since the 1980's Also wonder if rumors of driving & camping are getting dangerous? Many thanks for your input.........Have been that area three times and think it best in Mexico     Ron

Answer
Not sure what areas you are referring to? The coast from Mazatlan to Manzanillo is safe for driving and the major resorts of Mazatlan and Puerto Vallarta have grown substantially .

I am driving in Oct from Nogales to La Manzanilla it takes 3 days.

I do not know the safeness in Mexico City and Guadalahara I stay away from places that big!
