AboutDavid E Clarke Expertise Lodging, villages and activities on the Bay of Tenacatita only, in the state of Jalisco on the Pacific Coast of Mexico (Costa Allegre)
Experience I have been part of two companies that have specialized in kayaking and camping trips in this part of mexico and am very familiar with the Bay of tenacatita and the surrounding area.
I presently have a small company called outlandadventures that has a year round ocean view rental villa in the small fishing village of La Manzanilla Jalisco, Mexico where folks can come enjoy the beauty of the area.
Question Hello David,
I'm trying to figure out who can drive a Canadian registered vehicle in Mexico. I'm aware of the Mexican insurance requirements.
I seem to find two answers to this question. First is ONLY the guy or gal who brings the vehicle in. Second is anyone from the same family as the importer. As long as the importer is in the vehicle and they both have the same class of tourist permit. Can you point me to an official Mexico government website that answers this question.
Best Regards, Burk
Answer burk you may want to type in google search for mexican auto insurance there and they may be able to answer the question in the states if you want more than one person to drive put them on your insurance policy that is what I did with my truck both my brother and I are on the insurance so that he can drive an be covered also I suspect it is the same with the mexican insurance
