Microsoft Frontpage - FrontPage Error

Question
I have been receiving an error “server unexpectedly closed the connection” when opening and saving through FrontPage 2000.  It does not happen every time, but several times a day and if I wait 30min or so it seems to fix its self.  

I have Verio for my hosting company and they say it’s not them.   It’s not my anti virus because it happens on several computers that I have tested it on.  Also, when customers come to my site and fill out a form it spins out and noting will happen. (not every time)

I am planning on switching to Expression Web hoping that it is the extensions that are crashing it….  

Have you heard of anyone else having this problem?  Do you think switching to Expression Web will help?

Joanne, I get this from time to time as well, and it can be caused by anything but it's USUALLY a communication error between your PC and your server. What kind of Internet service do you have? Is it fast? Can you recreate the error from a different PC? In a different location?

No, I don't think it's a FrontPage problem, and I wouldn't upgrade to Expression Web JUST for this. If you want to upgrade for other reasons, that's fine... but the problem might still be there.
