Question
Hello.  I have a wireless switch on my laptop. I am always able to just switch it on and I connect via an unsecured connection like Linskys.  I can't do that anymore.  I can only access the internet through my cable.  When I unplug the cable and use my wireless it does not work. I can connect to Linskys with an excellent strength.  I then click internet explored and it says I can't access page, refresh.  I used my system recovery disk and I am not at my original settings.  The problem started before I even used the recovery disk.  Any help would be appreciated!  Thanks!

Answer
Hello Lisa,

Regarding your issue, please let me know following

1. what is the model your laptop.

2. Are you trying to connect to the wirless connection at home or to any hotspot outside.

3. When you see signal strength Excellent, do  you see the network available under wirless connection when you right click on network connetion icon and go to view available wirless connection.

4. Do you have more that one computer connected to the router.

5. When you open network connection, do you see any icon that say's
"Bridge Connection".

Thanks and Regards,
Sandeep Handoo
