Question
Dear Sir,
My IE 8 (running on xp professional sp3 )with latest updates hangs (not responding; no error message is displayed; page keeps on loading)on opening certain sites, moreover, I am also not able to open www.gmail.com and www.orkut.com (these sites do get displayed on IE if I use proxy service like http://www.hidemyass.com).

Hi Lakhbir,

With Internet Explorer opened, go to Tools, Internet Options, under the General tab click Delete under Browsing History, in the next window check Temporary Internet Files, Cookies, and History, click Delete.
