Question Hey there. Starting yesterday Internet explorer has stopped working on two computers in my network. When I open the program I get a dialogue box that says "Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close..." I then click the x box and it freezes. Eventually I have to Task Manager to close the iexplorer program. If i close the explorer program then I need to restart. My mozila browser works fine. I have reset the home page to blank through internet options in the control panel but it has not helped. I am stumped

Try a simple thing : go to tools in IE8 then click on Compatibility View Settings,and then check: Display all websites in Compatibility View.
