Expert: Lorry - 10/20/2009

Question
I recently installed a new computer.  I now have 2 computers in my home and want to receive all emails on BOTH computers (now using a router %26 high speed).  I used to be able to do this, but no longer.  I would appreciate advice.
Thank you

Answer
Hi Tom,

Set Outlook Express to leave the mail on the server for "X" number of days.

  1. Open Outlook Express
  2. Select Tools/Accounts.
  3. Click on the Mail tab, highlight YourAccount and click on the Properties button.
  4. Click on the Advanced tab.
  5. In the Delivery section, select the checkbox to Leave of copy of messages on server.
  6. Select the appropriate checkbox to delete the messages from the server after a certain number of days or until the messages are deleted from the Deleted Items in Outlook Express.

Hope this helps!
Lorry
