Question Hi: Our IT guy at the Office has installed some kind of basic blocking software that blocks all kinds of sites. It appears to be without rhyme or reason and annoys me greatly. Is there any kind of program I can download and install to get around this so I can surf where I want on my lunch break? I am looking only for tech advice - I know the legal/ethical issues etc. Is there a basic tech workaround for me on this? I found this advice here, would downloading this work?:

Answer Hi Matt,
There is a reason why various sites are being blocked by employers basically because you are there to work not to do personal things on the computer. Know also that many employers track the sites that their employees visit. Saying that, whatever you try the odds are that your employer will find out.
Hope this helps!
