Microsoft Internet Explorer - IE7

Expert: Lorry - 4/12/2009

Question
I have installed IE7 on my  XP v5.1 sp3.  This seems to work perfectly But:-
the first displayed IE page at the bottom left always says "done" & gives a yellow triangle plus excl mark & then, after saying thanks for choosing IE7, asks you under  required settings, to choose & save your settings.  This does not work & gives a message at the bottom left of  "error on page".  This happens every time I open IE7.  If I change to my ntl (virgin) homepage, it always restarts again as described above.

Answer
Hi Peter,

Go to Windows Update and download any available updates.

With IE7, you must choose and save your settings, otherwise you keep getting that annoying thing.
