QUESTION: this didn't work. Do I have something checked that should be unchecked. It's annoying because I sometimes like to put up 2 screens and I can't do that unless the screens are both smaller. Why won't it work in Mozilla? Thanks
Answer Sorry the first suggestions didn't repair IE. The following should work to fix the Firefox window.
Try manually resizing the window when it is supposed to be half-size by placing your cursor over the edge of the window until the cursor changes. Then click and drag the window edge smaller. Now when you click on the Miximize button, it should alternate between the two sizes.
