Are there any toolbars, for example like Yahoo installed in Internet Explorer? If yes, uninstall them by going to the Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs.
Go to Windows Update and download the available updates.
Click Start, All programs, Accessories, System tools and click on Internet Explore (No Addons).
