Microsoft Internet Explorer - ie8 w/a dial-up accelerator

Expert: Sandeep Handoo - 8/29/2009

Question
i downloaded ie8 approximately 2 weeks ago, and today i added an accelerator from my isp (dial-up) and now my images are blurry.  Can I do anything to fix them....my isp said to "right click" on the images and correct them, but I'm finding this really annoying each time i want to look at an image.  Is there anything I can do to fix this problem?

Answer
Hi Fred,

Regarding your issue, please try following.

1. Click on Tools>Go to Internet Options>Click on Advanced Tab
2. Under the multimedia section, uncheck “always use Clear Type for HTML” and also uncheck "Smart Image Dithering"
3. Click on Apply and close all the open browser windows and relaunch it.

Let me know in case you still face issues.

Thanks,
Sandeep Handoo
