Question
QUESTION: I cannot get online because a message comes up that the Microsoft explorer is blocked and when if I try to go and print something a bunch of naked ladies pop up.I can not get online now. It says Microsoft explorer blocked.

ANSWER: Hi Deanna,

Am assuming that there is an anti-virus program installed, if yes, start Windows in Safe Mode by tapping the "F8" key when Window first starts until you see a window with various ways to start Windows, choose Safe Mode. Once there, run a virus scan.

On a working computer, download Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 1.41, put it onto a CD, then istall it on your computer and run a scan.

QUESTION: Ok I did as you requested but at 1st looked like it was going to work and went back to the same thing. Is there something else I can try ?

Answer
Hi Deanna,

  1. Click Start, right-click My Computer, and then click Properties.

  2. In the System Properties dialog box, click the System Restore tab.

  3. Click to select the Turn off System Restore check box. Or, click to select the Turn off System Restore on all drives check box.

  4. Click OK.

  5. When you receive the following message, click Yes to confirm that you want to turn off System Restore:

You have chosen to turn off System Restore. If you continue, all existing restore points will be deleted, and you will not be able to track or undo changes to your computer.

Do you want to turn off System Restore?

After a few moments, the System Properties dialog box closes.

Now run the scans, once the threats are removed, enable System Restore.

Hope this helps!
