Netscape is adverttising its "Nitro web accelerator" that's supposed to increase email and surfing by "up to" (I'm already suspicious) "6X faster" on my present dial-up service.

Is this or any other accelerator really any good, or is it just like those boost-gas-mileage-as-seen-on-Nigerian-TV gadgets?

Seems Not exactly the thing as advertized.....

any way.... It has a  7 day trial period.....

and there is  no Harm in trying it.. and I am sure  7 Days will be sufficient  to judge its actual performace....
