About Murray S.
Expertise
I will try to answer any question you may have concerning Internet Explorer up to and including version 6.0 which I am currently using.

Experience
I have been using IE since the days of Win 3.1 and am now using IE 6.0. I think I have run into almost every possible error one can receive.

Microsoft Internet Explorer - Window size

Expert: Murray S. - 8/7/2004

Question
When I click on a link and a second window is opened, it is about 2" x 2" (on a 17" monitor)instead of the same size as the original window containing the link.  This started a couple of weeks ago and I can't figure out what I did or how to fix it.  Thanks for your help.

I am using version 6.0.2800.1106.xpsp2.030422-1633

Answer
Howdy:

Open a link..  now, use you mouse and drag the window to the full size of your screen..

Once that is done, use the File>Close option and close the ORIGINAL window..

Once you have done that, maximise the link and use the File>Close option to close it..  DO NOT JUST "X" OUT !!

Now try it..

Murray
