Microsoft Internet Explorer/address bar

Question
Hi.  My question has to do with clearing the history on the address bar.  We often clear history/temp. files since our memory is limited, but there is a group of websites that keeps appearing on the scroll below the address bar whenever you type in something of the same letter.  Is there some other way to get rid of all those sites? Is it some kind of virus?

Howdy:

Just a suggestion, but whenever you need to ask a question, be sure to give all pertinent information..  For example, here you should have given the operating system and what browser and version you were using..

Start OE and go to Tools>Internet Options>Content..

Click on AutoComplete and click on the Clear Forms and Clear Passwords buttons..  Apply and okay out..

I have been using IE since the days of Win 3.1 and am now using IE 6.0. I think I have run into almost every possible error one can receive.
