Answer Hi Dianne,
Drivers are frequently updated to eliminate bugs or incorporate other changes. To download and install a new or updated driver, follow these steps:
1.Connect to the Internet.
2.Right-click My Computer.
3.Click Properties.
4.Click the Device Manager tab.
5.Click a listed device and a new window will open.
6.Click Drivers to see what drivers are installed on your computer.
7.Click Update and Windows will see if you have the latest driver. If not, you can update to the newest version if you wish.
You can also find updated versions of drivers by visiting hardware manufacturers' websites.
With Internet Explorer opened, go to Tools, Internet Options, Under the General tab click Delete under Browsing history, in the next window click te Files and Delete History.
If you use AOL:
RE: Blurry pictures with Internet Explorer. - 3/3/2001 17:50:00 Even though you said you didn't use Compuserve or AOL browsers, the only thing I'd know that would cause this is viewing with AOL's browser ...AFAIK, AOL normally overrides the settings of a previously installed IE browser.
Somewhere in the AOL settings you can turn off the image compression. This is what would cause your images to appear blurry. You may want to over compensate for AOL and not compress your images as much to begin with. It's a toss up. Slower loading time, or over compressed for AOL users that don't turn the image compression off.
