Hi. My OS is XP Home. I can't stay logged into my college's BlackBoard site. I've had this problem since I switched from AOL to Sprint DSL...2 weeks ago. Sprint's online chat help tried to help me today...that didn't work: he suggested I go into "safe mode w/network support" option & I didn't seem to have the problem there...therefore, he said that meant Sprint's DSL modem's firewall had nothing to do w/it. The college's computer lab didn't know what to tell me either. The BlackBoard site repeatedly asks me to login: http://www.cravencc.edu. Please help me if you can...I really need to fix this problem now.Thanx
I'm using Sprint DSL modem 645 series.

This problem can occur when the secure area is on a different URL that the original login page and for various other reasons in the way the website is written (the html coding).

Answer Search your computer for a hidden file called HOSTS. Open HOSTS using Notepad and remove any reference to the problem site.
