Question
hi,  the setting I'm looking for is for the browser to stay in the window I'm using instead of jumping another window.

For example. I open 2 windows (Hotmail.com & Yahoo.com).  I'm opening an e-mail in Hotmail and since I know it'll take a few secs to download I go to the other window (Yahoo).  While I'm reading something in the current window, all of the sudden the other window pops up without me clicking on the taskbar.

This is really annoying!  How can I change this setting?

Answer
It is the default to put the window on top when it is complete. This is not something that you can change. Microsoft IE does it automatically. The only suggestion I have is to get a different browser.

I frequently use Maxthon (MyIE2) from www.maxthon.com. Instead of multiple windows, there is one window with tabs for each website. It is easy to switch between tabs and the one you are on always stays selected. It is based on IE and uses similar preferences but has a built in popup blocker, search highlighter and lots of other extras.

I wish IE would get it together just like you do.
