Microsoft Internet Explorer - c++runtime library

Expert: Frances Rhea - 4/2/2007

Question
Every time I try to access my folders in my documents I get the following error message:
microsoft visual runtime library
runtime error
program c:\windows\explorer.exe
abnormal program termination

I am using windows xp sp2......I also have explorer 7 installed

Answer
First try this:

Click Start, Run. Type in 'sfc /scannow' and click OK. When complete, reboot and see if that helped. If not, here is a page at Microsoft to repair Windows:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/315341/EN-US/

Let me know if you need more help.

Fran
