Microsoft Internet Explorer - concerns Backing up files

Expert: Frances Rhea - 9/3/2004

Question
Hi Frances,
This is Norma again, you helped me a short while again on A  question  about Action Cancelled!  I have another question I hope you can help me with! It is I read about Backing up files just today online, it said that Microsoft Home came without Backup installed, it also instructed me on how to install it! I did, I went to check it, you know START, PROGRAMS ACCESSORIES, SYSTEM TOOLS. Well Accessories is gone from the top of my list!  I can get to it going the long way,but I like it the way it was! The only way that I can get it back in the list Start Programs Accessories, is to restore! Can you tell me what is happening here? I kinda wanted to use the Backup utility!  Any help Fran would be greatly appreciated!
    Your Trully Norma

P.S. Sorry to bother you again!

Answer
No problem, glad I can help.

Click on Start, Settings, Taskbar & Start Menu. The next windows will allow you to locate the folders/programs manually and place them on the start menu.

You can also click on Advanced which opens an Explorer type window where you can drag and drop the accessories folder into the start menu.

If you need to find Accessories, click Start, Search, Files or Folders, and type in Accessories. It will show the location of the folder and files.

Fran
