Go to favorites at the top tool bar;
file edit view favorites tool help
Click on favorites;
Right click on a favorite on the drop down menu
On drop down menu click sort by name

A shortcut method that works in IE 7 is to left-click on favorites. When the list appears move the cursor into the list and right-click. One of the choices that appears should be "sort by name". Click sort by name and the entire list will be sorted. Note that when you move the cursor into the list, it will be selecting whatever item the cursor is over, but when you right-click and sort, the action is performed on the entire list, not just the apparently selected item.
