Question I'm not new to computers, but I definetly lack alot of knowledge when it comes any forms of codes especially javascript. To be honest, i dont know what javascript is. I just got a new computer, and since then I've been having problems with my IE. Most sites work.. but half of the links on almost all sites I visit to don't work despite if i click on them or right click "open in new window". I've used both ie 6 and 7. im running 7 on xp sp2. It's a fairly new toshiba laptop and for some reason i've been just having these problems. i think they are javascript related... because at the bottom they say something about javascript. I do have a yahoo pop up blocker. What can I do? Thank you for your help. Fixing this would mean THE WORLD to me.
Answer It could be that the sites are not compatible with IE7 or it could be that some of your system files are damaged.
First - click Start, Run. Type in 'sfc /scannow' and click OK. When done, reboot and try IE. IF that did not help, open IE and click Tools, Windows Update. See if you have the latest security updates.
