Lorry:
I just started to use Internet Explorer 5.1.7 and there is a problem with how I have set my security zones.
When I try to go to my hotmail account, I get a message that says: "your security zone settings do not allow you to send html forms" and I can't go to hotmail. How do I fix this and what are these security zone settings for? Are they necessary? The information in the help section is not very clear on what to do with the security zone settings or whether or not you must have them.
Thanks for your help.
Ron

Hi Ron,
I would suggest that you install Internet Explorer 6 for starters, then get the CRITICAL UPDATE(S) available for your computer.
With Outlook Express opened, go to Tools, Options, under the Send tab, click HTML under Mail Sending Format, Apply, then OK. This is how it would be done using Outlook Express 6.
I realize that you are using an older version but it should be some what similar. In Internet Explorer, leave the settings at default.
Hope this helps!
Lorry
