hi! just want to ask why i cant open www.gmail.com on my computer. is there a setting that i should change? i can go to yahoo and hotmail but not gmail. i can also search at google.

First the routines...

Clear your Browser cache and delete the cookies...
sometimes stale cookies do not allow a fresh session...

Tools--->> internet options
then click the  delete files button and
delete cookies button.

Also it helps if you clear your history ..by clicking the delete history button... and clearing the history..

Now try... Hope fully it should open now..

But if its still not opening...then Add gmail to the list of trusted sites....and enable the specific request for and password  option for it...

here is how you do that...

tools--->> internet options...

Then click the security tab..
then choose the trusted sites icon
and click ADD and add gmail's address there..

Also  now click the privacy tab..
then click the Advanced button..
and then click the override automatic cookie handling..box
and check allow session cookies option.

Now click the content Tab
then the autocomplete button..

and choose your options accordingly...

I would prefer if you first clear the forms and passwords
by clicking the click forms and clear password button..

hope it will help....

The Other option  is to use a different browser...instead of  Internet Explorer....

like  Firefox , or  Netscape...etc....
