Question Hi.
My friend found a message on her laptop on her msn plus chat blog between a woman & her husband's alias which he sometimes uses for business. When she confronted him he denied it saying that there are all sorts of problems with people hacking in etc. She spoke to two computer experts who said it had to be typed on that computer to be saved in the chat blogs. He also tried to make out that the name ended differently in 'on' instead of his 'an'. Is it possible that it has ended up there by mistake? How can she find out for sure?
Answer Hey Janet,
The only way the chat log could have ended up there if he typed it (or someone was physically sitting in front of his computer and logged onto his account). The people your friend talked to are correct, it had to have been typed on that computer in order to be saved in the chat logs. It's highly unlikely that it ended up there by mistake, unless he left his computer alone and someone walked into the room and used his MSN Messenger account while he was gone. Other than that, he is the person who typed it.
